Promises - Gratitude Day 8

ROYGBIV. Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, idigo, violet. Rainbows have been a sign of Gods promises for ages. The colors of a rainbow seen against the black clouds of a passing storm, stand out vibrantly and remind us of God's promises to renew creation and redeem mankind rather than wipe it out (Genesis 9:12-17). This renewal and redemption was and is accomplished through Christ.

Today I am thankful for promises. For rainbows that remind me of the covenant, the promises between God and man. That He is faithful to make a way for our redemption.

What promises of God are you thankful for today? Thank God for those promises and give Him praise that "the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations" (Deuteronomy 7:9).
